Do I have to be a legal resident of the United States?
Yes, The Virtual Call Center, Inc requires that all individuals seeking to become a Client Support Professional, Independent Contractor, Sole Proprietor, Virtual Agent, or Freelance legally reside within the United States. Currently, we do not offer work from home opportunities to residents of the following states: California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, or Wisconsin.
Is this a legitimate work from home opportunity?

What are the cost to get started?
The cost to get started may vary depending upon the equipment the individual currently has in their possession, meaning some contractors may have to purchase a computer whereas some others may not. Client Support Professionals, Independent Contractors, Sole Proprietors, Virtual Agents, and Freelancers will need to purchase their USB headset, a call center style phone (once they enroll in a certification program). Certification classes cost can range from $9.99 to $199.99 depending on the company the virtual professional wish to provide services for. We recommend that you do not purchase any equipment until after you have attended new contractor's orientation with a team member of The Virtual Call Center, Inc.

What is the average amount of money I can make monthly working with The Virtual Call Center?
The Client Support Professional, Independent Contractors, Sole Proprietors, Virtual Agent, or Freelancer determines the amount of their bi-weekly revenue check! The Virtual Call Center have agents earning $500.00-$3000.00 monthly answering phone calls for Fortune 500 companies answering inbound calls. You get paid for an honest day of work. The net amount can vary depending upon the number of hours you work weekly coupled with your performance. Top performers receive incentive earnings in addition to their hourly earnings.
Am I responsible for paying my own taxes?
The Virtual Call Center, Inc will provide the Client Support Professional, Sole Proprietor or Freelance with a 1099 at the end of the year. Client Support Professionals, Independent Contractors, Sole Proprietors, Virtual Agents or Freelancers partnering with The Virtual Call Center, Inc are not eligible to receive any benefits from unemployment. We recommend that all Client Support Professional, Independent Contractors, Sole Proprietor, Virtual Agent or Freelance meet with a tax specialist and discuss what tax claims and deductions they are able to write off.
When will I start working and earning a paycheck?
The work from home admission process with The Virtual Call Center, Inc can take as little as 5 business days. Once the Client Support Professional, Independent Contractor, Sole Proprietor, Virtual Agent or Freelancer has completed the admission process, the Independent Contractor then chooses a client certification course. The certification course can take as little as 14 days to 30 days to begin. While, enrolled in the certification course, the Client Support Professional, Independent Contractor, Sole Proprietor, Virtual Agent or Freelancer will enter a period where they will earn while you learn.This earn while you learn period is determined by the client not The Virtual Call Center, Inc. The start date of the certification course and the amount of time it takes for the Client Support Professional, Sole Proprietor, Virtual Agent or Freelancer to enroll in a course is the determining factor as to when the first revenue check will be received.
Why do I have to pay for my certification?
The Virtual Call Center, Inc does not pay for the client certification courses for independent contractors due to the Internal Revenue Servicing requiring that independent contractors supply their own materials, tools and equipment to be classified as an independent contractor. For example, if you wanted to attend a trade school, such as a cosmetology college or a real estate certification program, there would be a cost associated with the certification class or enrollment. There is no difference in working as an independent contractor call center agent. BEWARE OF VIRTUAL CALL CENTERS OFFERING TO PAY FOR CERTIFICATION COURSES AND ALLOWING THE AGENTS TO WORK AS INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS.

What does the work from home opportunity consist of?
The work from home opportunities consist of answering inbound customer service calls as an independent contracting customer service agent for Fortune 500 and well-known Top Name Brand companies.
How many hours can I work?
You must work a minimum of 20 hours a week after the completion of your certification course. You have the flexibility to create your work schedule and work as many hours as you desire. Our top Client Support Professionals, Independent Contractors, Sole Proprietors, Virtual Agents and Freelancers have learned how to maximize both their time invested and the unlimited earning opportunity.
Can I use a mobile device to answer calls?
No, you cannot utilize a mobile device to answer calls. However, a mobile device is required for some clients to authenticate the Client Support Professionals, Independent Contractors, Sole Proprietor, Virtual Agent or Freelancer identity.
Can I utilize my laptop?
Yes, you can utilize your laptop to provide services for our clients if your laptop meets the minimum computer requirements. Remember, you may not use any wireless connections at any time to provide service with any of our clients. Your laptop must have a hard-wired connection.
Do you require a credit check or run a background check?
There is a national background check required. Therefore, all applicants must successfully pass the background check before completing the enrollment process. Some clients require a drug screening. The background check cost $9.99 and the drug screening is at no cost to the Independent Contracting agent.
